Naibu

Hailing from the suburbs of Paris, France, NAIBU discovered Drum n Bass in the late 90quote s. After being introduced to a sequencer by a friend, there was no turning back. With influences ranging from the sampler maestros of the 90quote s: DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, Amon Tobin, and EL-P (amongst many others), to the depth of 70quote s electronic and progressive music, NAIBU digs deep in the crates, refreshing old dust to make something completely original. For me the first Naibu track that caught my attention was Nami Island. I just recently started hearing his stuff listening to Bassdrive and really dug his style. The French have already made quite a name for themselves with the likes of Redeyes and Peyo so it’s nice to add Naibu to the list.He just released his Fireflies EP on Horizons Music and it’s awesome.Naibu Vandal Podcast October 2008Tracklist01 - Blocks + Escher - Shadowplay (??)02 - Subwave - Indigo (Shogun)03 - Henree - Final Frontier (??)04 - Naibu - Newport (Soul:r)05 - Seba - Special Ops (Combination)06 - A-Sides - Tokiado (East Side)07 - Hydro + Naibu - Far reaches (??)08 - Loxy + Resound - New Age (Cylon)09 - Data - Muted (Metalheadz)>> Exocet - Demon Seed (Nu Direction)10 - Cern - God Song (DSM)11 - Mindscape + Hydro - Skid Row (Commercial Suicide)12 - Break - Authentic (Quarantine)13 - Naibu ft.
